BOB 2012 - the life sciences business plan competition - takes place between February and October 2012. The competition is divided into 2 stages:
Phase 1 - Best Business Ideas (February-May 2012)
- Identification of the 3 most innovative business ideas.
- One-on-one Meetings (March 2012): Intensive training for all participants in business plan compilation, IP strategy, Finance, Marketing etc.

Phase 2 - Best Business Plans (May - October 2012)
- Selection of the best 3 business plans and the best medical technology business plan (based on a pre-selection of the 10 best business plans).
- Coaching Session (September 2012): Individualized, intensive coaching session for the 10 best teams preselected to present to the jury. After the coaching session, there is the opportunity to rework the business plan and submit an improved version.
